4 Foods with Excess Sugar to Watch Out For!


Sugar is one of the most consumed food ingredients every day. Even some types of food contain hidden excess sugar, including 'healthy' foods.

Even though the world health organization WHO advises you to reduce your sugar intake by 5% of the recommended intake to prevent obesity. Here are some types of food that are claimed to be healthy but contain artificial sweeteners in them.

1. Sauce salad
To improve health, you also increase the consumption of salads. And when making salads, you sometimes feel lazy to cook your salad dressing. As a result, you also choose to use a lot of salad dressings sold in the market. 2. Cereals

3. Flavoured yoghurt
Yoghurt is good for consumption to improve the health of your digestive system. But be careful in consuming yoghurt packaging. Because this type of yoghurt contains sugar in the form of lactose (milk sugar).

4. Dried fruit
Dried fruit can be rich in fibre and other nutrients. But in many cases, it is found that dried fruit can be like candy. And did you know that a quarter cup of dried fruit has 29 grams of sugar in it?

Those are some foods that are claimed to be healthy but in fact, contain added sugar content in them. You should make your own food that you will consume than to buy food on the market that contains lots of chemicals or preservatives.
