Lower cholesterol by eating strawberries

Strawberries are one of the easiest fruits to process into various kinds of food. Besides having a good taste, this fruit turns out to have many benefits to improve the health of your body. One of them is being able to lower cholesterol.

A study published in the Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry shows that people who regularly eat strawberries for a month, their cholesterol levels decrease.

"The high content of antioxidants in it, such as vitamin C, can absorb free radicals in the body. Besides, the vegetable pigments in it, namely anthocyanins, which are credited with giving a red colour in strawberries, are also able to prevent you from cardiovascular disease, one of which is: cholesterol, "explained Maurizio Battino, one of the researchers.

The research team also confirmed that the strawberries will assess your red blood cells and increase the oxygen in the blood. Even another published in the journal Food Chemistry shows that eating strawberries regularly will improve the health of erythrocytes and mononuclear cells.
