Children should not drink fruit juice at night

The fruit is known as a healthy food that can improve overall body health. So that health experts also advise you to consume this healthy drink every day.

Fruit can be processed into various kinds of refreshing preparations. One of them is fruit juice. Even fruit juices are a fun way to eat fruit. So it's no wonder fruit juice has many fans including children.

However, according to research reported from dailymail.co.uk, it is said that children should not drink fruit juice at night or at dinner. Because based on research conducted at King's College London it is said that this behaviour can increase the risk of diabetes in them.

"Fruit contains natural glucose in it. However, because of that factor, children can develop diabetes if they consume fruit juice at night. Glucose can settle in the body because it doesn't have time to be processed. After all, the body's systems at night stop working," said the Professor. Tom Sanders, leader of the study.

"Children need a lot of water intake for their health. But do not get enough of sugary drinks, especially soda," he added.
